Friends Again

I decided to bring back Kino's old friend, Augustus "Gus" Grzybekski. You may remember him from his infamous performance in my comic Lost and Found: fav.me/d6thnd3 Well, you may see him return for the sequel, Meet the Kongs. As you can see, he got a major redesign since the last time I drew him. You could chalk it up to a bit of reconstructive surgery after that beatdown Kino gave him when he lost his game system!

I didn't plan on using Gus again after L&F, but I thought he could actually work as a major character. He could work as a foil for Kino. Like a goofy idiot sidekick of sorts. Gus is supposed to be the Goofy to Kino's Mickey, the Obelix to his Asterix, the Smiley Bone to his Phoney Bone... a Luigi to his Mario. You know what I mean?

So what do you guys think? Do you like Gus, or not really?
