As a straight, I'm not sure how to feel about this. I mean, it's wonderful that they passed this law, and the lgbt crowd now have the right to marry. I mean, it's not like this means straights can't marry anymore, right? So where's the harm?

I'm not sure how to explain my feelings right now. I guess this sort of feels like being at a party you weren't invited to, if that makes any sense.

As a Christian straight white male, I am very glad for this decision. I know a lot of gay people who will be more overjoyed for this than me.

Our country has been very slow to adapt compared to others; Ireland legalized it recently, too, and it's been legal in Canada for TEN YEARS.
